Bike: ON!

I think tomorrow will be the first day of the “Bike season 05/06“. The crew is ready, the rig is set and all I need to do now is press the pedals to the…well, basically they go around and around and there`s no metal, but still…you get the picture.

The target is Lond…ahem…sorry, too much James Bond. The first approximate target are Domžale. Which should be a breeze. Provided the weather keeps its face.

It`s funny, but for me cycling is another way of meditation. The way the body moves through space and time on a bike. Better than walking. The way you don`t even notice the legs working, hands pressed against the handle and your mind in a totally different zone. Nirvana.

I can hardly wait.

    05/06? When does a bike season usually end? January?

    Naah. It ends in October, November. For me at least. Not for my nutty father, who does not stop until there`s at least half a meter of snow. :D
