It went as expected. Fucking fabolous!
Impressions:
The crowd was smart and eager to learn. Always a plus.
The stuff worked. Did not have to use a backup plan, since the CD worked like a charm.
No overhead transparency problems 
The lecture lasted for almost three hours.
At the end we agreed to have another session. They need to practise the stuff they learned today so that they can ask me questions.
Notes for the future:
The whole stuff is too big for a single lecture. Two times by three hours would do wonders. First three hours for theory and the second three hours for practise. Or maybe four hours and two hours. Six hours total. Materials are paid extra.
Other remarks:
8 people is just enough. More than eight per session and the whole thing falls apart.
I bought three books by Nick Hornby.
