WordPress .pot file broken again?

I`ve been trying to translate the wordpress 2.5 into slovene, but had no success. The reason being that out of nowhere, the poEdit finds strange errors in my translations and refuses to save the file. When I close the .pot file and then try to reopen it, the poEdit says the file contains error and it cannot be opened. I am using the latest poEdit software and I download the POT file from the usual depository.

What am I doing wrong?

    I would check the encoding of the file.

    It appears that there`s two .pot files and I was translating “the wrong one”.

    Go figure.

    Hm… jaz ne bi prevajal iz trunka, ampak za posamezno verzijo, npr. za 2.5 je to http://svn.automattic.com/wordpress-i18n/pot/tags/2.5/wordpress.pot
