Pie ala Marie (don`t laugh, this is the official title)
2 cups of flour + 1 baking powder bag
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of oil
1 cup of milk
2-3 eggs (I usually use three)
1 kg of apples (peel them, cut them and then grate them)
1. Make batter out of flour, eggs, milk, oil, sugar and baking powder (like this)
2. Grate the apples.
3. Heat the oven on 175 degrees (anything between 200 and 150 will do)
4. Grease the pan.
5. Pour half of the batter in the pan and stick it in the oven for so long till it hardens a little (usually it takes about 5 minutes)
6. Take the pan out, spread the apples equally over the whole surface, pour the other half of the batter over the apples (don`t worry if the apples are “sticking out”) and put it back in for about 30 minutes).
And that`s it. Easy as…erm…pie 😉
