Mazzy Star
Album: So Tonight That I Might See
Title:Fade into you
*
I want to hold the hand inside you
I want to take a breath that’s true
I look to you and I see nothing
I look to you to see the truth
You live your life
You go in shadows
You’ll come apart and you’ll go blind
Some kind of light into your darkness
Colors your eyes with what’s not there.
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it’s strange you never knew
A stranger’s light comes on slowly
A stranger’s heart without a home
You put your hands into your head
And then smiles cover your heart
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it’s strange you never knew
Fade into you
Strange you never knew
Fade into you
I think it’s strange you never knew
I think it’s strange you never knew

This is one of the first songs I heared (and liked) playing in Hovli`s car. As she drove me home, she remarked that it was a great song to make love to. We sat in the parked car on the parking lot, talking about e-democracy and how one of the counties that were meant to participate in the project would not cooperate. And then we said good night and I went out…into the cold night. And when I got home, I waited for her to come online and asked her “Why the hell didn`t we kiss?” and she replied “I don`t know” to which I said “OK. Tomorrow we kiss.” And we did. Several times. For four hours.
