Nekoč nam bo vse bolj jasno…

Is now really the best time to publish a slovene translation of this book?

I guess there was and will never be a good time to translate this book … and certainly not now.

    Thanks for the link 🙂

I think now is as good a time as any. We needn’t worry that it will inspire Nazi-like ideas — these are, as the recent events demonstrate, already present in copious amounts among many people here, and our politicians are quite up to the task of fanning the flames of hatred and bigotry; an obscure, expensive, limited publication of 300 copies of Mein Kampf won’t contribute much to that. As a political instrument, Mein Kampf is thoroughly irrelevant now. It is primarily a book of historical interest, and I think it’s good that Slovenians interested in reading it will finally have the opportunity to do so in their own language.

    Konzorcij?

I’ve been meaning to read it for years but never got around. I won’t read it in slovene.
